ABUS Additional Key Service

Since producing this short piece, I’ve published a much more detailed guide on bike lock key replacement with up-to-date links for where you can order new keys.

I advise reading the ABUS sections in this comprehensive key replacement guide

ABUS, much like Kryptonite, offer a fantastic key replacement service, called the ABUS Additional Key Service.

When you purchase a new ABUS lock you’ll receive a plastic key card. This card is a similar size to a credit card and will have your personal key code on it.

It’s a good idea to make note of this elsewhere. You’d be surprised at how easy it is to loose one of these cards, and you’ll thank yourself if you somehow manage to loose all of your lock’s keys!

The link below will take you to the page on the ABUS website where you can begin the key cutting service.
